I joined Leaders on Demand to help businesses to succeed, normally through navigating a challenging period such as high growth, no growth, competitive disruption, or an otherwise deteriorating financial position. I do this by applying my experience in a methodical, pragmatic, open-minded fashion, by collaborating constructively with stakeholders, and focusing on the core strategy of the business and the requirements of its customers.
My personal mission is to unlock real value at my clients’ businesses, particularly those that are focused on improving the lives of others, often through the application of technology.
My leadership style is based on the empowerment of others. My persona is strong but considered. I believe in speaking my mind in a confident fashion, but I also believe that listening is the most important part of communication. This includes placing value on the opinions of those around me and being open to alternative points of view.
On Demand Support
I am available for interim/fractional or project/advisory deployments. Key capabilities I support clients with include:- Strategic Leadership: A proven track record of shaping organizational culture, mitigating risks, and identifying strategies that optimize both revenue growth and profitability.
- Change Management: Comfortable with ambiguity and leading organisations through significant change and transformation. Experience in implementing corporate restructures, improving processes and systems, and scaling operating expenses while maintaining staff retention.
- Financial and Commercial Expertise: Extensive CFO experience in stabilising finance functions, participating in fundraising rounds, and negotiating financial agreements, including significant project exits and customer financing facilities.
- Cross-Cultural Management: Experience facilitating and supporting meetings with diverse boards of directors, with an ability to navigate and manage differences in opinions, outlooks, and culture.
- Board and Committee Experience: Involvement in various boards and committees, including a current not-for-profit and a commercial board.
